Quick and dirty upload of something I’m working on. I’ve been inspired by the tribal peoples in the regions where Russia mingles with Persia. I guess it is only ever in this sense that I’m okay with my style being called ‘tribal’. ^_^

Anyways, still no scanner here, so this was drawn, photographed with my phone, and then colored in digitally.

Had fun here doing the billowy outfit. I’m happy with how this one came out, but a better iteration is underway.

phoning in my promise to post more art

This is what a wizard looks like.

There are some problems with it, and but you get what you get, ingrates.

Anyways, I reused elements from earlier works, cobbled them together, and made some quick changes.

Rushed to an insane degree, good thing I have spare parts at my disposal.

Sigh. Now to put on a happy face and head to my duties as doorman for the night.

If you had to pick only one night, show up on Saturday.

Anyways,  my scanner is broken. I drew the black elements of the woman by hand, took a crappy cell phone picture, cleaned up the image a little, vectorized it, and cleaned it up some more. The original was a single line drawing that I did in one continuous stroke. After that, added some extra elements to flesh it out a little. Presto.

Time worked : 4:30am – 7:15am

There is certainly a motif I am currently working with.

Back in the day I used to come home from a long hard day at the porn store and Ryan would be up at 4AM reading and drawing comics, then we would go get some Rodeo Burgers at Burger King. How fondly I look back onto these simpler times.

Anyways, you should subscribe to his blog. His work has a really rich satisfying quality, and his personality shines through in all of it.

I took this picture around two years ago, its one of my favorite photos I have ever taken.

The plan was to sit on it for a while, and get a large print made up for a gallery show one day. It has been too long, so here it is.

It sums up everything about me, at least at the time I took it. I’m remembering myself lately, and revealing this image is in tune with that.

Manifesting and being what is on the screen at the same time, self love like snorting lines of absolutely absurd indulgent narcissism.

Its these kinds of pictures that have won me hoards of trolls and haters on these internets, people obviously too stupid to see that this is a counter-weight. The entire story isn’t here on the surface level, and it never has been.

Every item in the picture tells a little tale to me. Like I said many posts ago, ‘chaoflux’ means pleasant mess.

Feels good to expose myself.

Lots of things are going on with me, internally and externally.

Overall depression has been harder than usual to kick, but now I feel a little reinvigorated, feeling like I found the others, for real this time.

Anyways, plan is currently to go back to school sometime for fine art, no matter the expense or irrationality of it.

Got my catharsis this morning.
